Christina Stürmer - The Band
Very successful export made in Austria
Christina Stürmer is an Austrian musician, whose career began when she came 2nd in the national Austrian talent show “Starmania”. She is supported by four male band mates, i.e. Oliver Varga (guitar), Matthias Simoner (guitar), Gwenael Damman (bass) and Klaus Pérez-Salado (drums).
Stürmer’s first song “Ich lebe” from the album “Freier Fall” was released in 2003 and turned out to be a great hit in Austria, Germany and Switzerland. It was followed by numerous similarly successful single and album releases including, e.g. “Engel fliegen einsam” from the 2005 album “Schwarzweiss”.
With her new album “Nahaufnahme” which will be released in fall 2010, Christina Stürmer once again aims at the top of the charts.
In total Christina Stürmer has sold more than 1,5 million copies in Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Italy.
