Lovebugs

Welcome to the crossroad of pop, indie, disco and rock - it's the Lovebugs.

To mark their 15th birthday, the five piece band Lovebugs proudly present their tenth album. Two anniversaries, so to speak, and a good reason to celebrate, with the Basel-based band providing their own party soundtrack:

The Highest Heights

The sound of their youth mixes with the growing maturity of the band members more potently than ever. It was groups like New Order and the Cure in the 1980s that popularized the symbiosis of strings and electronics -- and now, coupled with the euphoria of the early 1990s, the Lovebugs are bringing that sound to today's music venues. Each member has its own role; each instrument is indispensable and everything sounds tight, a truly unified whole. The imaginative idea behind taking rock to the dance floor reflects the Lovebugs' overall concept anyway: "We've never liked repeating ourselves".

An attitude that impressed Richard Rainey

The Irishman, one of world's leading rock producers, was quick to encourage the quintet to renounce compromise and all its pomps and go that one step further: the experiment-minded Lovebugs had found the right man.

Stefan Wagner (Keyboards) about Neutrik

"We rely on Neutrik for 15 years now! Quality always succeeds."
