Novochild

With their explosive live show the Berlin band Novochild manages to draw a bigger crowd every year. Numerous awards underline that their passion on stage is highly contagious.

Four "Berliner" and a guy from Buenos Aires - In 2006 Novochild evolved out of a small project when then the charismatic Argentinean singer Leandro took over the microphone.

With their music they trace the footsteps of Alternative Rock, Crossover and Grunge with a hint of their own characteristic sound. The Berlin quintet mixes progressive rock music with intuitive melodies and completes this package with lyrics in Spanish, English and German. Thereby the band succeeds in walking the thin line between mainstream and experiment.

In 2009 Novochild released their debut record "First Day of Stay" on Novatune / Orca Records but nevertheless they see themselves primarily as a live band which is why numerous gigs have been played in Berlin and all of Germany but also in South America (Uruguay, Argentina, Chile), Spain and Poland.

Right now gigs for 2011 are being organized, not only concerts and festivals in Germany but also Gigs in nearby foreign countries.
Novochild will continue to play, play and play... and for a final tease there's only left to say that they are having an eye on recording their second album soon.
