As a classical combination of Guitar, Bass and Drums, this trio is capable, all of a sudden, of launching a mixed bundle of natural forces right from the stage. Suddenly a reef avalanche may roll over the audience, followed by a bold of lighting in the form of a splendid guitar solo.
These pleasant young guys succeed, in blending energetically charged Rock'n'Roll, Punkrock, Grunge, and Acid with a number of psychedelic elements to create with their heart blood something unique: "Music for the Soul". SHIZOEY offers their audience a refreshing and arousing bath of feelings and emotions from a rich stream, which originates back to the American Rock scene of the 60's, 80's and early 90's.
Their debut album Lineaments (2010), under World in Sound Records label, was well received by the "stoner rock/heavy psych" Scene in Austria, Europe and the UK, with many positive reviews and comments about the variety of the songs.
Based on this positive feedback, SHIZOEY went on Tour through parts of Europe in October 2010 and shared the stage with top-class artists, such as Sevendust (US), My Sleeping Karma (D), Truckfighters (SWE), Julia (A) Black Sonic (FL) Mother Tongue (USA) Tv Buddhas (Israel) and several others. Their energy charged Live Shows, their highly rated Debut album and the recognition within this Scene, makes SHIZOEY one of the most promising new Heavy-Psychedelic-Rockbands of today.
Debut-Album "Lineaments" 2010
This is the debut album of the trio, located in Vorarlberg, Austria -through their 12 songs they present a "timeless" and atmospheric crossoverheavyrock album, with various of other influences, like Grunge, 90sHardcore but also 70 US-Westcoast feeling. Their brilliant guitarwork,featuring partly classical vibes and flamenco style, is combined withhaunted, wild scream attacks and unconventional slanting melodies - allserved with a unique self composed sound, and great artwork. Without beingpushed into a genre, SHIZOEY creates its own one-of-a-kind MUSIC FOR THE SOUL / SHIZO-ROCK and also takes you on a psychedelic journey withsongs like "Oriental Dream". On stage they are ready for the ultimate Rock n Roll party combined with a lot fun to set the audience on firewith their passionate energy ... taking them back to the good old 70'swah-wah blues-rock vains but also into today!
